Canteen Building

WERC is equipped with a separate canteen building, where 1000 children can have their meals at a time.

There are two separate dining halls for boys and girls. The canteen building is self-sufficient food processing center, with spacious kitchens and designated work areas. It also has separate cooking and washing areas.

The complex has its own flour mill to ensure fresh ground flour, and storage facility as well as a cold storage facility. There is a separate Generator for mess area and lift from the kitchen to the dining area of the large complex.

Mess

There is full-fledged mess facility specially keeping in mind the nutritional needs of malnourished children. The kitchen staffs have 20+ years’ experience and the employees in the dining hall are also very experienced.

Considering the age of the children and the necessity of adequate proteins for their all-round physical development, a meal plan is designed on the advice of experts. A diet plan has been designed by a panel of doctors (Pediatrician) based on the age and health condition of the children.

Each day a different menu is served. The students are provided milk daily, as well as sweet dish on alternate days. The vegetables are purchased fresh on alternate days from the local farmers. Thus freshly prepared hot meals are provided to the students for three times a day, along with a supplementary afternoon snack.

Drinking Water

Considering the source of tanker water, we have installed a Water Treatment Plant of 12000 Liters per hour capacity and also have new R. O. Plant of 2000 Liters per hour capacity to give soft and alkaline-free drinking water to the students.
